“Away in another village, there is a man who can make you into a new person!” When the peddler spoke the words, everyone was amazed. Two of the listeners decided they wanted to find this man, so they walked for three days to find him. They found a missionary to Ethiopia, Dick McLellan.
“I’m not the one who can make you new,” Dick said, “but I know the one who can.” For days he told them about Jesus.
Jesus loves to make people new. He’s in the business of changing hearts and transforming lives.
Finally the two men trusted in Jesus. They became new on the inside, loving Christ and loving others, and it began to show on the outside as their faces and their lives were transformed.
Do you know that you’re a new person in Christ? If not, keep looking to Him in faith, and trusting Him to accomplish this work in you.

Thank You, Lord, that You make all things new! Show me how to trust You to do that in my life, through the power of Your Holy Spirit.
