Rajab had been studying the Koran with the greatest teachers in his area, but the more he learned it, the more full of confusion it seemed. For a time he wandered in great darkness, but then he decided to go listen to what a missionary said about Christianity. The last night, the missionary said, “Sin is like a terrible disease. All of mankind has this disease. There is only one medicine for it, and that’s the gospel of Jesus Christ. You can accept this medicine, or you can reject it.”
After more prayers and searching, Rajab decided to accept the medicine, and he was so glad he did. He was lifted from agony to joy. He was born again.
If you’re struggling with a secret sin, the answer for you is the same. Even if you’re already a Christian, the medicine that you need is still Jesus Christ. He can deliver you from your terrible disease.

Lord Jesus, thank You that You offer the perfect medicine for sin. Help me to keep trusting You to deliver me from my sin and make my life a new one, full of joy.
